Ozone/Oxygen Sauna
Have you ever heard of an Ozone/Oxygen Sauna? Maybe you have seen one at an expensive day spa. It is a vibration sauna that operates with radiant heat that is mixed with concentrated oxygen and ozone. Oxygen is known for its cleansing and disinfectant capabilities. So what happens, in effect, is that your pores open up to concentrated oxygen and ozone. In therory, it cleanses and kills all the germs/bacteria/microorganisms that are exposed.
Researchers have discovered that skin cells receive less and less oxygen as we age. After age 30, our skin cells may receive as much as 65 percent less oxygen! This of course leads to wrinkles, age spots, and even skin cancer, in some cases. Cells that are dying or starved of oxygen mutate, and that is a well-known fact.
The medical and cosmetic benefits of an Ozone/Oxygen Sauna haven't been widely researched, but I can only pass on what users have been saying. They comment on how much better they sleep after using the sauna, for one thing. They mention that stress quickly dissipates as they sit in the sauna. How rashes and other skin problems are a thing of the past. Knowing how vital oxygen is to our bodies, this only makes sense.
